"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this quaint boutique hotel. What makes it special is the extraordinarily hospitable staff! Linda at the front desk was a shining example of this! She was warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and so helpful with directions and excellent dining recommendations. She’s a real gem! The cleaners were also very friendly, big smiles and happily provided us with fresh towels. Rooms are small but extremely clean, smelled nice & fresh when we walked in! Two double beds sufficed for my teenage son and I. (Would have been tight to fit 4 adults though) We parked in back behind the hotel and walked everywhere! So very kind of the management to let us park there for a few hours even after we’d checked out. All in all, a wonderful experience! We’d definitely stay again. We never used their pool, bikes or bistro, but all nice conveniences to have!"

"This place was just wonderful for our family of 3. The ladies at the front were all so kind and helpful during our entire stay. They were especially friendly to our young son, even giving him a nice little goodie bag at check in that kept him entertained. The warm cookies in the afternoon were a nice touch. The room was very clean and well maintained. We loved the location next to the Coronado library and playground which our son loved. Parking was a breeze and the attached restaurant had amazing breakfast. We can't wait to come back here again!"

"We stayed here for several days in September. I've traveled to Coronado many times and Crown City Inn is definitely the best value on the island. The hotel is very clean, it has an excellent location, it has a charming pool area for relaxation, and all the staff we met were extremely friendly and attentive. Our room had been updated and was quite spacious. We had a great time borrowing bikes and riding around the island, to the beach, and to dinner one evening. We highly recommend this inn!"

"Clean, comfortable room. We arrived early and we were able to store our bags and then borrowed bikes and cruised around the island. The Bistro has excellent breakfast too,"

"We came for a short vacation with my husband, toddler, and mother and we had two rooms. I thought everything was wonderful and they think of so many details, from the morning coffee to the afternoon cookies. Marsha was at the front desk when we arrived and gave my son a gift bag and a dinosaur car that he loves! And she was a friendly face to see each day after that and so helpful. The parking in the lot can be tricky, but there is plenty on the street or in the alley. The beds were comfortable and the pool is slightly heated, so that was nice to do in the evening. We felt safe and loved the location! The only thing that was an issue for us is that our 2 year old could open the main door right up, so it would be nice to have a deadbolt or something up higher. We pushed a chair in front of the door and that seemed to help."
