"My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing. They mishandled my reservation, causing unnecessary inconvenience. To make matters worse, my jacket mysteriously disappeared, and I strongly suspect theft by a member of the house cleaning staff. This experience has left a lasting negative impression, and I would not recommend this hotel to others."
"Hotel was below average for this brand. Was not very clean. Broken furniture. Our fridge was not working and maintenance came quickly and resolved which was a plus. Hot breakfast was meh and took a long time because of the volume of guests and limited space. Location was near the highway. They also billed an extra night. It took talking to two people to fix this."
"We stopped very late at night after a long day of travel. And the night clerk was so nice and friendly Unfortunately our shower did not get hot water only like warm and when some one else turned their water on our water pressure dropped and the water got cold Being on the third floor it can happen But when using the shower the shower pipe was loose from the wall. And had difficulty adjusting the water stream Then we went for breakfast anticipating waffles like most Hampton have Sorry to say the batter mix was so watery it. flowed right off the griddle. I did ask for it to be looked at but unfortunately the manager was too busy to help I would not recommend this spot. And they need to maintain cleanliness at the breakfast bar"
"This past weekend we had a large group at the hotel from Thursday to Sunday for a Hockey Tournament. Our stay started out on a bad foot from our reservation not being what we booked. We booked a King room and showed up to be told we are in a 2 doubles room, and we called the day prior to confirm our room was correct. Friday Night and Saturday night is when our stay hit rock bottom. We were met with Manager DJ who was not accommodating in our hospitality. Hampton Mission Statement clearly lists out the core values and Hospitality is number one on that list. DJ did not show one form of Hospitality over these two days. We asked to use the conference room so we could keep our large group of Kids in one area and make sure they were quite and not disrupting the other guests. DJ denied our request and refused to let us try and help him keep the noise to a minimum. Once our request was denied we told the kids to use the side parking lot where it was not busy and we will keep the noise outside. DJ then came out and kicked us out of the parking lot. The kids then went inside and started to play in the rooms in groups of 3-4. While this was happening DJ comes to the group of Adults at 8:30 and says if you can’t keep your kids under control we will have to take serious measure and start removing guests from the hotel. Keep in mind that the kids have a strict 9:30 curfew and would be settling down in an hour. After our first warning he finds a group of our teenage daughters who are in our group and starts asking if they could let him know what rooms the boys are in so he can go check out the rooms to break up the gathering. The fact that he is singling out a group of minors to help get our group in trouble is crossing a serious line, and shows zero integrity. This is when he comes back to us around 9 and says we have a noise complaint from a room on the 4th floor and we will now be removing this guest from the hotel. Not once did DJ address this guest personally or individually to fix the problem. The Core Values that are listed on the website of the Hampton Inn were not met this weekend, and I am extremely dissatisfied with my stay and will make sure that my reviews will be added to other outlets to make sure guests, especially traveling sports teams will know before they book with this hotel."
