Quality Inn Airport I-240

"It's a decent room for the price, Was going to order food for delivery, but everything seemed to close at 9, or doesn't deliver here, it's not a great area to be randomly driving around looking for food, so eat before you arrive. Staff was friendly, and the room sufficient, but The shower was narrow and the curtain not big enough, so water all over the floor. The free breakfast was basic, but sufficient."

"The service was good, but the area felt pretty sketchy. Big 8' fencing around the hotel, and with not really any amenities around, I would imagine that it is because of a higher crime rate. This is just my impression, and I had asked the night reception about safety and they didn't offer much information. Rooms were fine. Bed was lower end, and the room was a bit outdated (I was on the ground floor). I booked it because it was fairly inexpensive, and I was only to be there for about 6 or 7 hours. I think with a little remodelling, it would be much better for travelers that just need a bed to sleep on. I also don't want to speak negatively about the place, as really it is just a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. The room rating was 2/5 because it was clean, but outdated, and the mattress was so-so. I'd say a fair rating, as a motel like this could not possibly have a 5/5 room. Service was good, not outstanding, but I did arrive late, and night clerks have a difficult job. I don't expect them to be overly friendly or anything. When you check in late, you pretty much just want to sleep. Location - can be taken a couple ways. It was super close to the airport, which if the rating was based on this alone it would be a 4/5 (the motel is directly under the flight path for takeoffs), but as far as general feel of safety, I had to knock it down. Memphis has a terrible crime rate, among the worst in the USA, and this place didn't seem like it was in a well patrolled, or safe area. The big security fencing helped with this though, as it would be at least a deterrent for criminal activity."

"DON'T STAY HERE. Booked 1 night 9/20/23. Walked in the door, room smelled stale/musty/damp. Carpet dirty & slimy looking. Afraid to walk barefoot on the floor. Bathroom light did not work. Called front deck & nobody ever answered. Bed/pillows very lumpy. Towels dingy & smelled awful. This is a terrible place to stay. Building needs to be torn down & totally re-built."

"This hotel is very convenient to the airport. Unfortunately, there is little else in the area of interest. The only restaurant is a Mexican place up the street, which is pretty good. The rooms are a good size, but not totally clean. Many surfaces felt sticky, and the room had a musty order when I checked in. Running the air conditioner's fan full time helped some. The bathtub/shower was not totally clean, and nothing was done about it when I complained. The breakfasts are not worth mentioning. The staff was great. They were always available and helpful."
