"Bottom line: CrossFit Memphis is one of the best gyms I have ever attended, period. A little about me, I am not a newbie when it comes to gyms. I have worked with professional fitness consultants/organizations both in the military and sports, been a member of multiple gyms, and tried many different forms of fitness. Furthermore, I also unfortunately have scoliosis in my lower back, which is a genetic deformity/curvature of my lower spine. When it comes to weight lifting and circuit workouts, I am very gun-shy and careful due to this condition. I can say with zero reservation that CrossFit Memphis is one of the best coached, friendliest, communal, and most fun gyms I have ever attended. They NEVER made me feel dumb, high maintenance, or pushed me towards any exercise or movement that could have injured me due to my back deformity. In fact, it was the exact opposite. My story: I was in Memphis for a month for work and signed up for a one month membership with not too many expectations. A friend and I attended a complementary workout and found the location and staff convenient... little did we know how blessed we were to have stumbled into CrossFit Memphis. Within a week I knew I'd hit the jackpot of gyms. I began by attending the 09:30AM class with Jess as the coach. The atmosphere was very welcoming and professional. It was clear the 'regulars' in the gym had a deep respect for Jess and genuinely enjoyed their relationships with each other. The workouts definitely pushed you beyond your limits, but were scalable to everyone's different levels of fitness. For the last three weeks of my stay I had to switch to the 5:00PM class due to my work schedule. The coaches were Greg D. and Greg S. depending on the evening. Both were pure motivators. Furthermore, the other folks who attend are just as motivating (Zach, Ashley, Jordan, and many more) and willing to give you tips, pointers, and even let you borrow gear if you want to try something out. The coaches were always making sure you performed every move safely focusing on technique and proper form, not trying to push you into something you weren't ready to accomplish. I essentially got addicted to going to the gym, being something I looked forward to attending all day! The coaches, the community, and the workouts made it an amazing place I am very sad to leave. I can say without a doubt that if Memphis were my permanent home, CrossFit Memphis would be my permanent gym. "Visited Memphis for a week long conference and went to the 6 am class at CrossFit Memphis. Highly, highly, highly recommend for everyone, both beginner and the pro. Their communication in helping me get ready for my visit was quick and professional. As soon as I arrived I was already prepared to workout. The trainers were amazing, fun, and so encouraging. I'm not the most fit person, but they motivated me so much I was excited for the next workout. I will definitely visit them again in the future!"

"The team at faction are all incredibly knowledgeable about both the movements and overall healthy living. They were very approachable and fun to talk to. The facility is very well kept and spacious with plenty of good quality equipment to suit any fitness needs. Everyone, including other members are extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely makes you feel like you're part of the team. Relaxed but motivating environment. Would absolutely recommended to both new and experienced competitive athletes."

"I have been going to Faction for nearly 5 years now, and I haven't regretted a single moment of it. I swam competitively for many years and through college, and it is very rare to be able to replicate the feeling of camaraderie, motivation, and variety that I had during those years of swimming. Crossfit helps me recapture that fun and teammate support, and Faction is a well-equipped and friendly place to do it.
