"It was very windy today, I brought the family and my daughter had three other friends that came along they wanted to have a picnic out on Shelby Farms today. It was so nice there were lots of families that were utilizing the front part of the park in front of patriot Lake. It was a bit too windy for my drone though. Even the porta pottys were very clean."

"I can NOT WAIT to come back to check out all the new amenities the park had now! Mr. Tom over at the visitors center was absolutely the kind of person that should be at a welcome center. He was so positive, welcoming, and informative! He even insisted he take our picture with Buffalo Bob, the GIGANTIC stuffed Buffalo in the welcome center. My 13 year old was so excited. I was shocked at how much has been added since the last time I came through the park. Im somewhat a local but still want to go to the new gift shop! It wasnt open but I will be checking it out when it is! I can't wait to hit the tree top adventure park and try some ax throwing this summer! Beyond excited to have a cool place to kayak and fish with my kids and bring my furr kids somewhere that it's very much encouraged to do so! Keep up the great work guys and give Mr. Tom a top ambassador award of some kind!!"
"Went for a walk. It was very busy there this morning and windy. I enjoyed my walk and plan to go again. When the wind is blowing, the water waves and give a nice and calming breeze.
