"Very nice park and river walk bathrooms playground equipment and dogs on a leash are allowed great views to be had all year round"
"I go every year to see the lights unfortunately a bunch were out of not working but was still nice just remember to bundle up"
"Walking the river was great! Wonderful views in both directions! The kids loved walking the trail and also playing on the playground! There are a lot of places to eat within minutes of the park if you plan on having a picnic! We will definitely be bringing the family back in the summer time!"
"A beautiful park located alongside the Cumberland River. A nice size parking lot and clean restroooms on site. The park has several picnic areas, a playground, a BCycle station, and a boat ramp, as well as the "the River Flows Museum," depicting Clarksville's rich river history. The park is also home to the Clarksville RiverWalk, a 2-mile walking trail that connects on the south end to the Upland Trail via the Pedestrian Overpass at College Street, and on the north end at the Red River across from the Clarksville Greenway. It's also dog friendly with many dog waste areas and bins along the walk. I was disappointed, however, to see so much trash and litter along the rocks and waterway. As well as a lot of hooks and fishing lines. I picked up every hook I saw and disposed of them in my short walk as well as multiple glass beer bottles. I will never understand why anyone litters or how anyone thinks nothing of it as they toss it among nature??? There were several trash cans scattered about. Just no excuses. Im also surprised the employees dont clean up the debris and trash??? Especially all the hooks and lines that endanger the birds, fish, and all wildlife."
