"They said my car would be by tomorrow 7 times, it's now 60 days and my car is not fixed. They also asked for $1000 up front before they ordered a $300 part. Then the part they got didn't work. Also the Owner Chris doesn't return calls . BEWARE"

They charged to fix the broken items, but they didn’t fix them then I went to different shop and they showed me the pieces old and not original, they used parts from the junk yard, also they prices are so high and they don’t give your car on time, they keep it for long time"

"Benders Automotive was a trusted business in which my family and I brought our cars in to get any problems fixed. For the most part, they can get the job done in any car. Unfortunately, they lack respect towards their customer. I have now TWO occasions (written in paper) where they fix something without authorization. Chris and Marlon both put me in an uncomfortable situation where I had to pay for something I did not authorize and had no idea about because it was not communicated. (Incident 1) A couple months back I payed them $2000 to replace my turbo. As I go to pay, they mention that my driver side tie rod was broken and needed replacing and that the work was done and added to the total cost of the turbo. This was all mentioned last minute as I was getting ready to pay and not mentioned over the phone whatsoever. This was unprofessionally done but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. (Incident 2) This past weekend, I go in to the shop to diagnose a power loss and an air vacuum noise I was hearing while driving. I dropped off my car in the morning and get no calls on my car throughout the whole day. Half an hour before they close, i decide to call them and get an update on my car. Chris answers and says that my turbo hose came off but that they put it back together and my car has been ready for me to pick up. As I go to pick up my car, I get hit with a bill of $306 for putting the hose back to its spot. Nothing was replaced and this cost was purely all labor work. The labor cost was not the cause of this review but rather the lack of communication I had with Benders Automotive. As my final words to this business, I suggest working on transparent communication with your clients."

"DON'T GO HERE!!! They randomly fix components that were supposedly "broken" or need change WITHOUT your permission and then stick you with a heavy bill afterwards that they force you to pay. They also charge their labor as if they were earning a doctor's salary and are thirsty to rip anybody off. Save your money and time by going to another mechanic. Unless you wanna be stuck paying large sums for things you never asked for, and never authorized, DON'T GO HERE!"

"Chris was so amazing to fit me in for same day service. My commercial truck’s radiator broke down and he was able to get the part and replace it on the same day. These are honest and reliable people. I highly recommend them!"
