"RUN Forest RUN, do not use this facility. When I arrived they did not ask what type of oil I used. They presented me with an estimate for an oil change 92.91. I was there about 20 minutes, when I was told it was ready I asked why the charge was so high. Oh well your vechicles uses more than 5 quarts of syntheyic oil. I did not ask for synthetic oil; oh but the auto mfg. says, that is what you should use. That is bunk! The mfg. calls for an API Certified SAE 5W-20 Engine oil. I'm not sure they even changed the oil filter. All the checkes they said they did, were not done, mfg. calls for 36 psi in all tires, they reported 35 in all tires when in actually 2 were at 37, 1 at 34 and 1 actually at 35. They checked the transmissions being ok, how? My jeep has a sealed transmission, not even a dip stick. I was so mad they did knock off 10.00, actual charge should have been 64.99. FYI I have done my one servicing and most repairs when younger, also worked at an automotive parts store for almost five years. I know a bad shop when I've been to one. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS."

"I have brought many of our vehicles here to Carl for many years because he is honest and trustworthy. Yesterday we purchased a used car from a private seller for our son to take to college. It needed an oil change. While driving it to Fairway Auto Center the check engine light came on. Carl was not in so I had them do the oil change and they told me bring it back today to have Carl take a look. Today Carl was super busy but still took the time to talk to me and plug it into the machine that tests for codes…2 codes appeared!!! Carl turned to me and said here is what these codes mean and why I needed to return the car to the man I purchased it from and get our money back! Carl did not charge me for his time and did not try to tell me that I needed him to repair it for thousands of dollars. I appreciate him and his team and thank him. Go see Carl if you want honesty, even if his shop can’t fix the problem he is honest and tells you what’s wrong and to go get it repaired!"

"Avoid them please.. I guess its some sort of mechanic language. This is the 2nd oil pan I'm replacing after having oil change done at this place. Look at the smile and marked plug. Super tricky. They will not notice you that they ruined threads. And when you come back with Reciepts from oil change they will tell you that its not the car they have done bc of wrong license plate."

"Get Ready for the Up-sell On my first visit to Fairway Express Lube, I did my homework and read up on the reviews, most of which were positive and 5-star. I always watch what the service people do, just to be certain that they do what they claim they will do. I wanted synthetic oil, because I do a lot of freeway driving. so I asked explicitly for the synthetic oil change. I was told before I signed anything and before any work was done, that the oil change included a "Free" car wash. The estimate was for $75.xx, the Final came to $87.xx Included in each oil change is 5-qts of oil, my vehicle is an SUV and requires 6-qts. On my receipt, that one quart of synthetic Havoline had a cost of $7.50. That's a pretty high mark-up, IMO The only thing that the service person did besides change the oil, was over-inflate my tires. I already had good pressure because I have a TPMS. When the service person started inflating, he never checked the recommended pressure from the inside of the driver door (rating is 32 all around). When done, the left side of the vehicle was 36, the right side was 38. >:-| Most oil-change places I've been to charge about $50 for a change, but they also vacuum the carpets, clean the windshield, you know, the things that are usually done at a Car Wash. So i felt that if I was going to be charged $75+ that I should just take the included Car Wash. The first thing that the Car Wash rep said when I presented the "Free" Wash ticket was, "Would you like us to clean the recondition the leather and foam your tires?" More up-sell, ... sigh. Did they do a good job, yeah, mostly. I could do without the up-sell. And can I get a synthetic oil-change without a car-wash included in the price? Update: Returned for a second try (2018.11.20) Fairway Lube does not always complete every task on the list. Before I visited my tire pressure was at 29 / 30 psi When I left, my tire pressure was still at 29 / 30 psi The statement that i received stated PSI: 35 Front / Rear. My advice to anyone who visits a Oil Change shop: Do not sit in the waiting room, Stand in front of the bay in which your vehicle is being serviced. Watch the service personnel. If they do not do EVERY SINGLE TASK, call them on it"
