Did a search and found Jack Dane Auto Service nearby. I called and Mike said yes they could work on my truck and did make the repairs needed. They did thorough inspection to let me know about other issues as well. The problem was fixed. "When you find a mechanic you can rely on, you stick with them. I have several aging vehicles and all of the have visited Jack Dane. I have never been pressured to have a service completed and they stand behind their work. My most recent trip in was for when my trunk would not latch. When they tested it, of course it worked. The tried several times to replicate the issue but it kept working each time. Mike stated they could replace the latch, but suggested we wait to see if it does it again. They wrote up a quote for a brand new crate motor, not a remanufactured one, and was still competitive with not only the dealership but other shops as well.
