"Called to see how much they'd charge to replace the distributor O-ring just out of curiosity as I been wanting to do it myself. The job takes less than 30mins to do, which is to drain the engine oil unscrew 4 bolts on the distributor to disconnect from the head gasket and replace the distributor O-ring. BEFORE I let him know I had any knowledge of what I was talking about he said he'd charge me $180! Mind you the distributor O-ring costs just $6! I said "$180 for a job that takes less than 30mins?" He then said "I didn't say $180" tried gaslighting me and everything! Do not trust this man he will rip you off because he'll think you have no knowledge! Very disrespectful."
"Incredible service . Helped us even though we weren’t using them as a mechanic , they helped and were super friendly regardless . Really kind great people overall great experience. He also let us park in his parking lot out front overnight so we could get inspection first thing upon awakening"
"Made an appointment on Friday and arrived on Saturday at 11:30 am. Mechanic pointed out bent rim that I was unaware of and pointed me in the direction of where I could get it fixed. I was in and out quickly and very satisfied with my service. I would def. Recommend their mobile auto repair shop!"
"This place and the mechanic Lair gonna rip you off. I recommended my friend here to fix his car. The estimate was almost $1,080. The car was at the auto shop for more than 2 days, honestly I understand why they wanted to keep the car that long. When I and my friend came for the car, the bill was actually $1,254. About $900 is for the labor only. The main problem of the car including the A/C, the brake signal on, and the door lock was not fixed. The mechanic Lair said the car "module" links these problems together and they couldn't fix ??? Yeah, they want $900 for not fixing the main problem, really? The mechanic Lair is very rude and untrustworthy. There are better auto shops out there. Don't just come here to get Robbed !!!"
"Excellent service. I had a problem with my Tacoma and could not move the car. I called a couple of mobile mechanics shops in the area and Lair picked up the phone. We scheduled a time to meet, he showed up on time, and got the issue fixed. Pricing was competitive and service was above expectations. Great experience and will repeat."
