"This is an authentic Japanese restaurant and I enjoyed everything that I ordered. I forgot to take pictures because the food was so good. If you like Japanese food, you should definitely go."
"Amazing Japanese izakaya! Small little restaurant with not a huge selection, but everything we tried was delicious (we ordered about 15 items). Favorites were the Japanese yam fries, yellowtail belly sushi, and mini unagi bowl. The sake selection was also great - we got the noble arrow, which was smooth and wonderful. Yuzu chu-hai was great as well, but I'd avoid the lemon chu-hai."
"A hidden gem if you ask me. Tapas are generously and well seasoned for the purpose of alcohol consumption. The sushi options are unique and special. Sake and shochu options are authentically Japanese and really quite divine. Things you generally wouldn’t find in regular Japanese restaurants. The vibe was chill and homey. Reservation is required as the space is intimate. It’s a special place."
"Great food. Chef loves his job. This is not the place if you’re in a rush or have to be someplace afterward. It seems like it’s mostly a 1 man operation in terms of the food preparation, so go if you’re into taking your time and enjoying the food. Sake flight (they have 2 choices) are a great way to try different sakes. Food varies from izakaya style plates to sushi, unfortunately no omakase due to being only him preparing the plates."
