"It’s scary to have a trans fail while driving. I was driving my 2010 Altima through the canyons on Cannon Street in Anaheim Hills, when I felt the transmission lose power climbing a steep incline. When I smelled burning metal, I stopped driving and called around to find someone to help determine the issue with the trans. Michael at Angel’s provided preliminary solid suggestions and guidance over the phone, so I had the car towed to Angel’s in Mission Viejo. I awaited the verdict. The team test drove the car for 3 days, then Michael advised me that there was no point dismantling the trans, because the computer codes did not match the symptoms, and the tests did not produce failures. The mechanics diagnosed that there were other issues with the car. Their advice for me was to not purchase a manufacturer’s rebuild, but to monitor the other issues until a specific problem could be discovered. Their honesty and integrity gave me confidence to follow their instructions. How can I not love a team like this? I’ll be back soon for other work on my aging car."

There was a really tricky problem that needed a very detailed and extensive diagnostic to be located and fixed. Mike took the time to explain the repairs my car needed and provided a clear estimate. After repairs were completed, they took the car for two extra test drives to double check that everything was properly done. Total charge for all that work was even below the original estimate. Mike, and all team, are highly professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and honest, which is really hard to find today. They've earned my trust and loyalty for all my future auto needs."
