Grove Grinder

"WOW! I've always passed by this spot and wondered if it's good and sheesh it is GREAT. Lemon Groves best sandwich spot hands down!! I got the Cheese Steak, Pulled Pork, and their award winning chili and all 3 did not disappoint. The cheese steak was very filling and the steak was incredibly tender I couldn't believe it. The Pulled Pork was absolutely delicious and once you add the bbq sauce which is nice and tangy it elevates the pork even more. The chili was by far my favorite, it had a nice spicy kick to it and each spoonful had me going in for more. There's not much else I can say, if you're in the area this is a MUST GO TO spot you will but be let down. I'll be sure to come back for more!"

"This place is a hidden gem for me. I've seen it in the past driving before and you can tell it's something special just by seeing the outside. I'm glad that I finally made a point to finally visit. All of the Sandwiches are super bomb! So good!!! The price is great and the portions are huge. Please support this local business it will be worth it."

"I was in the area finally and this was on my list to try out. Wowsers. It’s got that perfect mom and pop sandwich shop you long for. I ordered the half Godfather and it was the most loaded and delicious sandwich you can get in the San Diego area. Hands down. Game over. Their root beer selection is the best, too. You can’t not try here."

"This is definitely a gem! Super cute little place with a ton of different soda varieties. Absolutely loved the old Knick knacks and deco. The portion sizes are huge! If you order a full sandwich be prepared to save some or share with a friend. Ingredients were fresh and bread was perfectly soft. The Mac salad had all the right ingredients but was missing some flavor. I added a little salt and pepper and it was good to go! I love this place and will definitely be back"

"As someone who enjoys a good sandwich, I was excited to visit the Grove Grinder Sandwich Shop in Lemon Grove, California. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by the friendly staff. One of the things that stood out to me was the generous portions. The whole sandwiches were large enough to share with someone else, which made it a great spot for lunch with a friend. The turkey bacon avocado sandwich was definitely delicious, and I highly recommend it to anyone who visits. And for a soda lover like myself, the extensive collection of sodas was a real treat. I had fun trying out different flavors, including some old classics that I hadn't seen in a while. With over 75 different root beers to choose from, it was exciting to grab a few and compare the different tastes. Overall, I would recommend the Grove Grinder Sandwich Shop to anyone in the Lemon Grove area. The friendly staff, large portions, quality ingredients, and unique soda selection make for a perfect lunch."
