Songhak Korean BBQ - Tustin

"i’ve been wanting to try songhak for the longest time and had a great experience!! firstly, their prices are so affordable for the amount food you’ll be getting! we went for the signature choice for $26.99 per person and it came with 44 plates of meat (so much!!) i don’t even think my friends and i made it even close to 44 plates because we were so full, so to think the premium menu comes with 57 plates?? wow! quality of meats: the first plate we had was the #1 which is premium beef brisket and it was a little more chewier than i expected, which was why we stuck with the wagyu beef belly, our all time favorite! it was so tender and thin, very easy to keep eating! if you want some flavor, we also really enjoyed the premium beef brisket with gourmet sauce! it’s not as thick of a marinade as other other meats which we loved (we get very full off of marinated meats haha) the bulgogi surprised me as well because it was sooo soft and tender! not to mention their semi- buffet bar of marinated meats AND extra sides?? i wanted to keep going back for that japchae. i loved how the seating was in sections with only a couple tables in each section, it feels less crowded, less smoke in your area! our server was very attentive to us and cleaned up our plates often so it never stacked up! great place!"

"Songhak is a great deal if looking for all you can eat KBBQ! It’s such a good deal there is a lunch line on a Monday afternoon! The restaurant is clean with plenty of parking to be had. There are islands with meats to choose from with some fun flavors like Hawaiian and Texas BBQ flavors. They have onions and zucchini slices as well as a salad as far as veggies go. They also have glass noodles, fried rice and other Korean specialty sides On a third table. Their menu ranges from limited small lunch offerings at $21.99 (not including islands) to a huge offering of all you can eat at $38.99. The most expensive offering has Wagyu three ways and baby octopus! Their happy hour is from 3 - 5 weekdays with half off soju and beer. The service is efficient and friendly. They can recommend you items to order if you are uncertain what is best. They will also help you decide what level of menu you would like depending on the amount you’d like to eat and the dishes offered. They come by frequently to change over your grill and make sure your water is full. All in all a good experience."

"I'm always down for some authentic KBBQ, especially after a gym leg day! There are 2 AYCE options: Signature A $26.99 (44 items) Premium B $38.99 (57 items) I really wanted the beef tongue and pork jowl, so I went with the "premium" option. There's also a self served bar where you can get some marinated meats and Korean side dishes. Overall, it was a very satisfying meal!"

"Absolutely enjoyed the quality of meat and super service here at Songhak Tustin! Sauces were never empty and the banchan kept on coming. My fav parts of KBBQ are the sides and they had really yummy fried rice, japchae, kimchi, rice paper (for bbq), salad, fish cakes, and Korean pancake. Also appreciated the frequent grill changes cos that makes the bbq 10x better. Me and my friends came here for lunch and decided to get items from the premium list because we had to AYCE pork jowl and we had no regrets. Definitely coming back."
