"I went into the store with the intent of getting replacement work shoes as my previous Skechers are almost done for. I was the only one in there at about 1pm today, and there were 2 employees. One of them greeted me, but didn't offer any assistance. They were well into conversation about manga or anime. I asked about one shoe and if they had it in a certain size. The girl went in the back and then came out and said they didn't. She didn't make any suggestions or recommendations. I looked at some other shoes, and had to interrupt their conversation again to see if they had the one I was holding in the size I requested. The girl went in the back again and then came out with my requested size. She put it on the bench and went back to her conversation with the other employee. I don't know if it's covid rules, but she didn't open the box or take out the shoe or anything. If it is covid rules, I'd recommend they let the customer know they can't open it for the customer. However, she didn't even bother checking up on me while I tried on the shoe. She just went back to her conversation with the other employee behind the counter. They didn't say anything to me or ask me how it fit or basically acknowledged my existence, only when I asked for the shoe size. For the most part, I certainly didn't feel welcomed there, and maybe it's because of the situation right now, but it's obvious they weren't expecting to sell anything, even though I was ready to buy. I decided to leave, and they didn't even bother to say anything to me then, either. I like Skechers, but I wasn't going to buy anything if they weren't going to at least make an effort."
