"Nicholas is a custom boot maker. He doesn't advertise or own a computer or cell phone. All he does is make cowboy boots, boots, shoes, belts, anything you want in leather: cow, alligator, ostrich, lamb, pig, snake, or any hide. Bring your own leather if you want. Custom boots start at $650.00 and up. He'll measure your feet and makes his own lasts. As a side note, don't expect an organized pretty shop, or that the owner wears a shirt on most days as it's hot in Riverside. But he will make you the best dang boots you'll ever have One of the last true cobblers that actually knows how to make boots and shoes from scratch. Very friendly."

"Inept and incompetent as can be . My 300 $ were ruined here and he couldnt put them back together . He tried taking them apart to put new soles on them and ruined them and they are unable to be reconstructed. He is a nice guy but he doesn't know what he is doing . I just want to warn other people so they don't have to go through what I went through . I lost 300 $ plus the 75$ deposit I gave him ."
