"Horrible customer service! The location is great but very poor management. Everytime the same bad service. Guy telling me that other people this other people that... Trying to intimidate me for asking for anything (Smart talking). I would not be suprised if this location closes due to no sales. I will have to travel further for a decent customer experience. I mean we are spending a good $$$ amount per pair. Suggest for others to not go here , try elsewhere."
"I came in to do a return a guy with a beanie and dreads or braids was at the desk. I said I'm doing a return. He just said RECEIPT looked at the receipt for a while and said REASON WHY U R NOT RETURNING IT TO FREMONT. ???? He's not asking why I'm returning the boots but the store. He has a bad attitude from the start I said we live in this area. My husband got upset and the employee got mad too and told another guy to come and help us out cuz he was not gonna help us. The other employee came and said we couldn't do the return because Red wing has a store policy that only allows 1 return in a lifetime. Came to Fremont and employees were glad to help with the return. No attitude here"
"i purchased some boots in good faith, for walking for my job. i developed blisters first week, put that down to new shoes. However have them Since August and now again have blisters and pain from use of these boots. I really looked at them now and the material at the end of each shoe has torn up and causes friction on the heel of each foot. The pair of shoes, developed these holes just over night it seems, as I do inspect them. First the left and more recently the right. i also purchased the recommended socks too and worn with shoes but still happened. I do walk up 16,000 to 21000 steps per evening. I have never seem this happen before in relatively new shoes that it just tears in specific places, unfortunately."
"Customer service was amazing at this location. Other locations have 1, maybe 2, people working. This location had at least 3. I got instant good service. I bought my boots at another location and went here to buy insoles. She looked up my boots purchased at the other store, had me walk across the pads, showed me the options, and I purchased the insoles I needed. My back no longer hurts and the boots are more comfortable than my running shoes. Lesson learned- buy insoles once or twice a year and have new feeling boots. Thank you to the lady that helped me. If I'm back in the area again I know where to go."
