"My daughter had a wonderful experience at The Pointe Shop today to get her first pair of pointe shoes. Her fitter, Onara (sp?) was knowlegeable, professional, kind and thoughtful. She asked targeted questions, watched my daughter move, described her feet and what she was looking for in a shoe that would fit her properly, tried her in probably half a dozen different ones, with two different types of pads, and we found the one. Onara was also careful to ask about if there was a certain brand her studio required, how many elastics, what type of ribbon. I had no idea it was so complex. We left feeling confident and well-cared for. Highly recommend!!"

"My daughter had a fitting at The Pointe Shop in Berkeley in September 2023. It was a wonderful experience: our fitter was very thorough, patient, and knowledgeable. She tried SO MANY different shoes; we definitely exceeded our 15 minutes, but we were never rushed. I highly recommend The Pointe Shop, especially for dancers (and their moms) who are new to pointe. An in person fitting is so worth it!"
