"I've walked by this store many times. I always paused or slowed down because of the great window displays but never walked in: I mean, do I need another pair of earrings? Turns out I do! (And for less than $40!) I also needed very chic trousers a bit reminiscent of Katharine Hepburn, that I can wear all year, because I need all the help as I can get to reach my goal of casual elegance - still unattained but these things will get me closer, lol. Whoever does the buying has a great design sense. Great place to pick up gifts, too. The whole experience - ambience, lovely young woman who helped me, beautiful things I wouldn't find on Amazon - was such a nice boost that I felt moved to bother to write a review! And because I previously overlooked the shop, I thought I'd point it out to others. It reminded me that shopping IRL is usually way more fun and effective for clothes and gifts, and that I'm relieved that retail and Oakland are not dead. And so conveniently located near La Farine, Cole Coffee..."

"This is a wonderful gift shop and place to buy adorable clothing and accessories, most made with fair trade principles or handmade in the US. There is even US made denim jeans. Really wide variety that changes often. Totally love this store."

"Beautiful place to up your wardrobe game. Fun stuff and some staples, just the things to fill in a capsule wardrobe. Truly the softest clothes I've ever laid my hands upon. I came away with a pair of sailor pants I've been wearing every day for a week and a flowy black jumpsuit I'll rock for holiday parties. (FYI that one made me spontaneously catwalk. In other words, not only are there good clothes but there's a bonus: the shopkeepers don't laugh at absurd antics)."
