"Chips where fresh and warm, salsa was great! Ordered the chicken fajitas with corn tortillas. Fajitas were flavorful and not greasy! Service was great. Waitress kept my drink full and kept checking on my chip basket, now that’s the kinda service that’s hard to find!"

"We went on a double-date for Valentine's Day! It was wonderful, the staff are warm & welcoming, clearly there are regulars who frequent, but everyone is made to feel special about their experience. We ordered a Ranch Water & blended Mango House Margarita for our group and a Table-Side guacamole. The chips are addictive. Crunchy, not soggy, freshly made, and salted to perfection (we easily devoured 4 baskets). We had a gluten-free vegan member of our party who was able to substitute protein for veg & corn instead of flour tortillas. The enchiladas Pollo con Mole was my dish. Super filling, spot on flavors, and possible (although not desired) to share. We ended the night with homemade Flan. I have never tasted such delicate yet creamy and firm custard in my life! Well done, Elvira's for making our joyous night out a wonderful celebration of Love!"

"Wow, what a sweet find! Great atmosphere, delicious authentic Mexican food, and very friendly welcoming staff. The service was excellent! We talked with the owners and what a breath of fresh air. They make a point to chat with all of their customers. Homey and friendly place. Did I mention incredible salsa and large glasses for margaritas and beer! Delicious food. I felt like I was eating in my grandma's kitchen. They are expanding and will have a cantina next door. Great place! Enjoy! We will definitely be coming back, I'm sure with regularity. "Love this cute place! One of these stars is dedicated to the free tootsie rolls. Everyone is super friendly and the food is spiced differently so it doesn't taste like every other Mexican restaurant. Just loved it and loved reading their story on the menu."

"So anyone who is looking for some good food you will not be disappointed. This place will get you right. Me and my sister came to visit Revelation Church and was in Simi Valley for 5 day and this was the place we ate all 5 days. We tried something different on the menu everyday and was never disappointed. Not only was the food delicious but the staff was amazing, the prices are affordable, and the service is fast! The must have are; the table side guacamole, the chicken or shrimp wraps, fajita salad, Camarones a la Diablo shrimp, and fajita el patron, the drinks are also really good; I loved the horchata and my sister enjoyed the BIG Margarita and the hibiscus. However everything is delicious!!! I will miss this place when we get back to Myrtle Beach SC. WE WILL BE BACK!!! Christina thank you for the awesome food, great service and wonderful conversations.
