"Sophy's never disappoints. Food is amazing and the staff is always friendly. I live in Seattle and when I visit Sophy's is always a must."
"The Cambodian food was really good. My only knocks are the A/C wasn't turned on during a particularly hot summer day, making the Cambodian experience too real. The poor waitress had 10+ tables on a busy night all to herself. I assume it's some kind of family experience, but this poor girl is being ran ragged."
"Sophy's been around forever and my Cambodian friends have all been here for its authentic food. $16 for each of the entrees we ordered seemed reasonably priced. -Beef lol lak: thin strips of beef was semi-tender. Loved the sauce that was on it. Good w rice. -Banh Cheo (Asian crepes): crepe w chicken and bean sprouts self-wrapped inside lettuce and various herbs w a peanut garlic sauce. This was more delicious than ones I've tried at some Vietnamese restaurants. I think it was supposed to have shrimp but it was 95% chicken.... Love the banana wrapped sticky rice desserts that they had available at the cash register. We were told you could freeze and reheat them too. Bought grilled banana, jackfruit, and mung bean sticky rice."
"Been going to here with my family for years when I lived/visited California! They have some great Cambodian food. Traditionally I get Phnom Penh noodles, but they have other great options as well at about $15-$20 per dish. They make some of my favorite crispy squid. Really love the salt and pepper sauce. The squid is chunky and chewy. I do think they should replace some of the fried onions with more squid however, and also coat the squid a bit more as the breading kept falling off. Beef jerky is very savory and fresh. Really love it! One of our classic dishes we order. There salmon salad was something new I tried which was very delicious! There is marinated salmon that is refreshing. The salmon skin is crunchy. The vegetables are fresh. Definitely recommend. Only thing I would recommend is to sharpen up the anesthetics a bit as the building looks a bit outdated and the paint could use some touch up."
"Delicious! Had to make a stop here while in Long Beach. A Cambodian friend suggested it and it did not disappoint! We ordered beef satay, sour soup w fish, sautéed frog legs and stir fry watercress - a well rounded family dinner! The waitstaff was attentive and friendly and the environment quiet and relaxed. Def recommend!"
