"Cool bar with great holiday decorations inside. Decent happy hour Thurs-Sat 5-7. Inside has plenty of seating. A small side room available for private parties. They also have a nice big patio. Good for groups or a date. Not much food but they do have tacos and chips. Chill atmosphere. Great service. Friendly staff. Street meter parking up and down the block."
"Taco Wednesday is the way to go. 3 tacos plus chips under $10 is truly an amazing option. Please not on this day there are no happy hour options, however drinks are still affordably priced. Let's take a peak into a local neighborhood modern speakeasy tucked away behind Fin No passwords needed to enter here but good vibes and a great time is. What's not to like!? Another plus, it's fully ada and wheelchair accessible. Today's visit we opted to leave my chair in the car and I utilized my cane especially since there is only street parking it would have been a bit of a hassle getting into the area with my particular chair, but no worries here once inside there is ample indoor seating and an abundance of outdoor. Customer service was phenomenal and our bartender was very honest and polite. I apologize I don't remember his name buy he was very helpful when we asked questions in regards to certain drinks and the tacos. My only qualm because I'm mostly vegetarian I was sad to see that the vegetarian taco options do not qualify for the taco special but the carnitas were very delicious according to my partner. The tacos were very tender, juicy, nicely portioned and flavorful. When it cam to cocktails I decided to branch out my norm when it came to speakeasy styles of drinks. NY first drink involved their holiday special. They did not have the peppermint to create the rim ans honestly rhats ok. From aestetic point of view it would have looked lovely but personally my drink tasted phenomenal without it. Candy cane crush was delicious, well flavored and festive. My partner opted for a spicy margarita and rum punch. Both packed a boozy kick. I do love my whiskey and sazerac but opted for a different alternative. My only requirement it needed absinthe. Overall I highly recommend visiting this place. Perfect for couples and large groups. It's an intimate setting and an amazing way to relax and unwind."
"I have been looking for a different place to visit nearby, and think I have found one with character and a cool vibe. I first had to find it through a narrow alley, behind the restaurant in the front. I chose a welcoming booth across from the bar. There is also outdoor seating. The classic cocktails included one of my favorites, Sazerac (rye, Peychaud bitters, sugar, absinthe). The DJ was great and several started dancing to the beat. I will definitely come back to try other drinks and food. Parking can be difficult to find on Washington Blvd."
"Disclaimer: we came pretty late in the evening, about an hour before close on a Thursday night. But this place was pretty dead, with only 1 or 2 other groups here along with us, yet our drinks took FOREVER - probably about 30 minutes. Once they came they were pretty good though. The patio is sort of small but serviceable, and the inside has more of a trendy feel. The entrance is, as you would imagine, down an alley to the right of the restaurants in front. Street parking only (avoid the neighborhood as it's all permit parking)."
"Def one of my favorite cocktail spots in Culver City! Chill vibe with a good crowd and fantastic bartenders! What really makes it for me is the service and quality of the drinks. It's right behind Fins Tapas so you can grab food there and head back to the alley to keep the good times rolling! They have spooky cocktails now and I was really impressed with how well they turned out for it being relatively busy. My group tried the Black Dahlia, Pumpkin King, The Count, and Sanderson Sisters. I enjoyed the uniqueness of each, but the Black Dahlia was intriguing and mysterious with hints of liquorice-esque flavors and other unique notes. It was all very subtle and made for an outstanding cocktail. The Sanderson Sister was fun with dry ice making it have a cauldron effect. The Pumpkin King was good and same with The Count with a more creamier consistency. Also, the ice they use is pretty incredible. Super clear and really stands out! A little weird thing to notice, but I appreciate it! Overall, I enjoyed each time I've been here as it is starting to become my local watering hole. Keep up the good cocktails coming!!"
