The Carlton Hotel

"So nice, peaceful and quiet. I had no trouble sleeping here. When i called to inquire, they told me the rooms have a crawl space between floors. Very classic feel. I like the classic feel to it. Reminds me of home (used to live in ohio). Spacious rooms, very clean and i had a nice conversation with Melissa (at front desk). Thank you Melissa and staff! (One tip- a couple weights missing in the weight room (a set of 20s and 25s). But still 5 stars to me :)"

"Great place. We had an amazing stay. The place has a character, with spacious rooms, a large bathroom with a hot tub and shower. The location is right off the freeway and very accessible. There is some minor glitch with the elevator but this is totally negligible."

"Great little hotel for a stay in Atascadero! Loved the antique feel and the location is perfect for walking around downtown and parking is really convenient. Really nice staff as well, would definitely stay again!"

"I got a deal on this hotel room while driving down south and had a room on the third floor. It had high ceilings and was huge. The bathroom was gorgeous for the deep soaking tub and shower head that will blast any filth off of you. Insane pressure! The elevator was a bit funky and probably needs an upgrade but otherwise 10/10!!"

"I love staying here! The rooms are huge with high ceilings and are tastefully appointed. I loved the spa tub! The bed was super comfy, too. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because it was missing some little touches like (real) glasses and a real bar of soap. It only had those cheap little ones. You have to get all other bathroom items like shampoo and lotion at the front desk. I guess that’s a new state law? It would have been nice if the desk had given them to us when we checked in."
