"My first time shopping here and my impression was a good one. The store is well kept and roomy. Good selection of produce. With other popular stores in this center, finding parking can be a challenge, but there's plenty of space on their rooftop lot. They had no long lines at checkout. Located at the intersection of 2 popular roadways."

"From one of the best to the Safeway down to one of the worst. Three more mobility carts and none charged. Was told one was but the display just didn't work. That was a lie. Died one minute in. Go to get a cart? Nope, they have two of the doors locked from the inside. Overall not a disability friendly store at all. Next time I'll go to Target."

"I normally shop here weekly because it is walking distance from my butcher and bakery but recently the quality of foods has declined. The meat in the refrigerator is frozen. The lettuce is moldy. I guess we’ll have to move to another grocery store."

"One of the biggest grocers in Oakland. Their produce section is what I really go for. They have a bit more exotic food choices than the other big grocers in Oakland. They have the best store hours and the freshest stuff. I've never found an expired pastry on the shelf or molded dry salami, unlike another store I've been to. 10 out of 10."

"Best Safeway I've ever been to! So many more gluten free and vegan options than other locations. This place is huge and extremely well stocked, you'll find everything you need. Bathroom is disgusting though"
