"I googled the best food place in Santa Clarita, Ca. and we end up to Namaste Spiceland. Not fun of Indian food but upon trying it out it’s pretty tasty and delicious! While waiting you can shop at their grocery. The staff esp. the store manager Riwky (I hope I get the name right) is very good in customer service an asset to the business. I highly recommend this place!"

"Update: I recently visited this store with my elderly mother. While waiting in line to check out my groceries, I noticed the lady in front of me had a question for a young cashier (he is usually in the food side of the store) about one of her purchases. It seemed to be a price discrepancy based on what I heard and witnessed. Clearly the lady was in the right to ask since the tag on the shelf showed one price, the product rang up even the advertised price but this young cashier thought it was a wrong price and he wanted to charge a higher price to this lady in front of me. Both, the lady and the younger cashier were having a very respectful conversation about it while this middle age tall guy who usually is at this checkout point helping customers comes out of one of the isles towards the checkout register and moves so close to this lady and intimidates her with his loud, rude response to the price discrepancy. I clearly noticed the woman getting uncomfortable and taking a step back due to his unprofessional and threatening behavior from the store cashier. Needless to say, I was disgusted, and felt compelled to say something to this rude, middle age cashier but since my elderly mother was getting tired, I dropped my own groceries and we left the store without buying anything. Beware!!! If I hadn’t witnessed it, I may not have realized how unsafe this place can get for women shoppers. I felt extremely bad for this lady in front of me, so I waited in my car to ensure she was out safely soon. I am certainly not going back there and certainly not giving them my business. Management needs to look into this and take necessary actions against this employee (unless he is the owner). **************************************** The store appeared to be well stocked. I didn’t really verify the prices to see if they were reasonable or comparable to other Indian stores around. They have food options available there so we tried a few different things - mix veg, puri, lemon rice, Dosa, uttapam and dahi puri. Everything was okay in taste, not exceptional or good in our opinion. Sambhar that came with Dosa and uttapam was stale and had weird taste to it so certainly food wasn’t fresh. We were quite excited to try this place for its food but were disappointed and wouldn’t be back for food."

"Very excited to see Indian grocery store finally in Santa Clarita we just had Sev puri, Dahi Puri, masala dosa and the googli paratha. These all item was very delicious . Like home made. We purchased some groceries also, the prices were very reasonable. I got my favorite maggi and hot & sweet sauce . All Staff were very kind and helpful ."
