Full Moon Mandarin Cuisine

"I'm always looking for a solid lunch option that is delicious and won't break the bank. This week I was in the mood for Chinese food and my usual spot doesn't deliver so I decided to give Full Moon a try based on the good reviews. I ordered a Kung Pao Shrimp lunch special. It came with a generous serving of rice, egg drop soup, a veggie egg roll and salad. All in all I was very pleased. The Kung Pao Shrimp had red and green bell peppers, carrots and onions and a nice spice to the sauce. The egg roll was pretty average but crispy and went well with the spicy sauce. The soup was also average and I personally would like to try the hot and sour soup if it were an option. The salad was standard, a bit wilted because it was in with the hot food but still not bad. Take away I would definitely order from here again and am actually considering going to eat there next time I'm in the mood for Chinese food."

"The service was pleasant and quick. We ordered the potstickers for appetizer, and the filling was flavorful the wrapper was thick. The chicken and broccoli was what we expected. The mapo tofu had a nice bite but we weren’t wowed by it. The fried sesame balls came out last, nice and hot. They were small, bite-size and came with six total."

"I am thoroughly disappointed ☹️ in Full Moon’s Dan Dan noodles. A complete waste of money! There was absolutely no pork and hardly any sauce. Maybe less than a teaspoon of green onions. DO NOT ORDER this dish. Unless you want to spend $14 for plate full of noodles that cost them less than a dollar. Look at the picture and see for yourself. Also, dumplings while they have a nice filling the wrapper is thick and gummy. I can recommend the Moo Shu pork. That’s excellent and they make their own pancakes."

"Arrived late to Monterey and kids didnt want to go out. We wanted Chinese and ordered here. Wasnt expecting much. But when we opened up the chow mein, great smell. And the flavor matched the smell. One of the better chow meins Ive had. Walnut shrimp was good. What you would expect. Salt and pepper pork was so so. The flavor was missing some few things, all I tasted was salt and white pepper. What we had overall was great. Maybe we need to dine in and try other food next time."
