Abalonetti Bar and Grill

"We came in around 4pm for late lunch yesterday and everything was delicious! We ordered Crab Cakes (there were 2) as an appetizer, and they were definitely made in-house; the sauce the crab cakes came with was the perfect compliment to them. We also got complimentary bread & butter; the bread was warm and soft/fresh and the butter was salty and delicious. For lunch we ordered the Calamari Tacos and the Calamari Steak. I had the Calamari Steak with potatoes and veggies; there was a delicious white wine sauce with capers for the steak, and the potatoes were delicious and garlicky. I loved the Calamari Steak, but was instantly jealous when I got to try a bite of the Calamari Tacos. They were hot, crunchy, and delicious- the sauce poured over it was an appropriate flavor pairing, and I wish I lived around here so I could eat the Calamari Tacos often! Next time I come here, I am definitely ordering the Calamari Tacos for myself! It wasn't busy at 4 so service was fast and the food came very hot. Folks working inside were friendly and attentive to drink refills and making sure we liked our meal. 5 star experience!"

"Overall, a great place. Very cute restaurant with a great outdoor area. Service was friendly, attentive and efficient. Food was really good. Their calamari appetizer was delicious. We got the Monterey calamari one. For our main we both had Scampi Monterey and it was really really good. Everything was flavorful. Overall prices are not bad for the mains and the portion size you get. Appetizers however could be a little cheaper. Signature cocktails were pretty cheap. Nectar Margarita was the one I had and it did not disappoint."

"If you are looking for a place with good Cioppino, you have found it!! Before going here, I read somebody else’s review and they said the cioppino here was life-changing. I don’t know about that but I have had a lot of different cioppinos in my life and this one is definitely in the top two. I want to go to Monterey, just to have it. The pacific Sand Dabs were also delicious. It’s not cheap, but worth it. The service was great and the restrooms clean. You can stop looking now and thank me later."

"First off all. Odie was an amazing waitress. She was so friendly and gave my LO a sticker. She gave the best advice about food and drinks. I was incredibly happy with the service. Secondly. The food was absolutely amazing. The best food my family has had in a long while. I had their linguine Alfredo pasta and it was so delicious. The sauce was the best I've ever had. My husband said the calamari was not chewy and it was the best he has also had. The pizza was cheesy and the burgers were flavorful. The seating was so clean and comfortable. I don't post yelp reviews often, but I was impressed with them being child friendly. The amazing service and the amazing food. 100% will come back."

"Atmosphere was cozy. We sat outside & there's patio heaters in case it gets too cold. My wife had the clam chowder in a bread bowl. Clam chowder was awesome. Seemed like a very large bread bowl. She couldn't finish it. I had the captains platter, fried rock cod, jumbo shrimp & calamari with fries. Everything was crispy & delicious. Came with tarter & cocktail sauce which tasted homemade."
