"The only local place outside of Oceana Market is extremely expensive. Sells terrible produce at jacked up prices and passes off garbage cuts as prime beef. I remember picking out a pack of what was labeled snow crab legs and it was just that fake crab stuff. Or getting a cut of beef that looked like NY strip and it is something considerably less tender and slightly more edible than the sole of a shoe. The deli counter IS slow. I have stood there waiting for long periods of time before anyone has come to help me, especially around breakfast. While the staff is kind enough, the prices are so bad that they agree. You can not stretch your dollar unless you shop elsewhere. Just for the sake of posterity I want to tell you that for $100 dollars at Costco you can get most staples for less. $10 for 6 cans of Tuna, rotisserie chicken for $5 bucks, 3 dozen eggs for $13 dollars. A huge bag of chicken thighs or grass feed beef patties for $20. It's not worth the convenience."

"I went to shop on a Friday night for some grocery, the cashier William was playing with a kid. After I was next, I handed him a bag, he kept on scanning, I thought he was going to bag my grocery like he did previous customers, I had to bag my own grocery and I asked him do you guys bag the grocery if I bought my own bag? He said we do but I have to move on to the next person cause the management needs us to move on immediately! So he stood playing with a customers child got 5m and waited for them to leave then moved on to next person and bagged and had a conversation with him but I spend $300 and he could bag my grocery? I felt so disrespected! And there was only two people behind me."

"Mixed Experience at Safeway, 12 Manor Plaza, Pacifica, CA 94044 I recently visited the Safeway at 12 Manor Plaza, Pacifica, and my experience was a mix of positives and areas for improvement. Customer Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ The customer service at this Safeway was commendable. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the shopping experience enjoyable. Store Appearance: ⭐⭐ However, the store itself seemed a bit dated and worn compared to other Safeway locations I’ve visited. It gave off the impression of being older, and I noticed some elements that could use an upgrade. Parking: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ On the bright side, parking was a breeze. The location provides plenty of parking spaces, making it convenient for customers. Surroundings: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another positive aspect is the abundance of nearby restaurants, offering additional options for those in the area. In conclusion, while the customer service and parking are strong points, the store’s appearance might benefit from some updates. Overall, a decent experience with room for improvement."

"Terrible food, meats generally look pretty old, and even with all of that it’s the most expensive grocery store in town (ex: $3 for a head of lettuce). The employees are nice though. Nothing bad to say about them."

"Food court service was very disappointing. Went in there for the combo meal for $9. The picture is what I got. Usually the portion sizes are a lot bigger. The service lady behind the counter for the hot foods also didn't speak English so it was very difficult to order. Too busy and inflation I guess."
