"It's a Dollar Tree and a Quarter now. Always busy here and the long line because of only one register in use make Walmart across the street the better option. I only shop at this store if I absolutely need to because while a pint of ice cream is still reasonably priced here, it is a shake by the time you get through the line. This area of El Cajon has degraded to the point where I don't want to even pass through, let alone shop here. If I wasn't staying at the Hampton Inn, I certainly would make Parkway Plaza and surrounding businesses the last resort even though there are decent shops and restaurants in the vicinity. The litter, excrement and human trash that has accumulated here makes me feel like I am in some backwards third world nation instead of America's Finest Suburbs."

"Caught me by surprise that it's no longer "Dollar" tree. It's now $1.25 tree. Store looked like it needed a lot of attention. Cashier was amazing working by herself with a long line at times. Very kind and great customer service."
