"You know what? It’s expensive, but you can order a huge amount of food and the sushi is actually pretty good. The rice they include is pretty small unlike some other sushi places where they have huge rice portions. We really enjoyed it. The udon and the other appetizers were also good. I would, however, skip the karaage chicken and the takoyaki. The spicy tuna crispy rice is really good."
"Great AYCE sushi place in OC right off the I-5. The sushi items are really worth ordering. My friends ordered a few rolls but I 95% went for the sushi and I was really happy. They came in a small portion so I could try every single sushi before getting full. The sashimi are great. The premium options really melt in the mouth! Definitely must order the otoro and chutoro sushi. They’re very very good. They’re very busy even after lunch time. Totally recommend!!"
"Came in with a fairly large group and was seated pretty fast, though we did come in on a weekday. The service we got was somewhat of a mixed bag, where the servers were positive and friendly, and did try to make an effort to clear the empty dishes, but on other times, just placed the new dishes on top of an empty dish. It was quite a strange experience. The nigiri was decent, not much to fault on it, given today's experiences on Ayce sushi, is saying quite a lot. The fish seemed relatively fresh, though I'm suspecting some of them might be "fresh frozen" but not deep freeze kind of frozen. There wasn't any icy feeling but some of the meat was semi squishy? for the lack of a better word. If I was in the area again, I wouldn't mind to come again, if there wasn't much of a wait."
"When we came in, the restaurant was pretty full, but we were able to get a table for four right away. The food takes some time to be brought, but the place is busy, so that’s expected. The food is delicious, but the sushi here are tiny. The gyoza are very well-prepared, and the seaweed salad is very good. The sushi are very fresh. Our waitress Kim was wonderful, very attentive, and friendly. This spot is popular and throughout our visit, the restaurant was always pretty full."
