"BEWARE spring break shoppers!! Prices have been raised just for you. I recenly purchased a t-shirt for my grand daughter $20 when checked out the price was 20% higher, had been changed in the system but not on the physical tag. I was informed that the shirt obviuosly already in their inventory had been marked up for spring break. This store doesn't make enough already? Very turned off by this practice. Last visit to this rip offf surf shop!! Welcome to Santa Cruz.."

"I Love This Store. And I need help when I shop here.I Don't leave there without spending $500.00 or more and if my Magen is with me and my daughter OMG. Each and every item I have ever purchased here at O'Neil is of quality materials and nicely made. Prices are very reasonable O'neill's carries an excellent variety of appeals for every one. I love making trips to Santa Cruz just stop at O'neil's each seasonal change over to check out the new Products that are offered. The staff here is super friendly and helpful their just a "Great Bunch" if I can say that. Enjoy teasing them their super friendly. The store always nicely kept organized and items are properly placed back where they belong. Not once ever, in all my visits have I ever seen this store in a mess. Keep up the excellent work."

"Absolutely incompetent staff. My son went to the shop to buy his first wetsuit and was not helped at all for choosing the size. The only thing the sales girl told him was “yeah it’s ok” in an absolutely careless way. When my son tried the wetsuit again after purchasing it is was extremely and obviously too big. Anyone with experience with wetsuits could have seen that it was the wrong size, but clearly at this shop no one has any experience or knowledge about the items they are selling."

"Nicely laid out shop with friendly staff. We picked up some new flip flops for my daughter there and forgot her old sneakers as she never put them back on. The O'Neal staff found the sneakers, put them aside, and returned them when we came back later."

"We used to go here all the time but now that they have stoner kids working there that are more interested in talking about surfing and who they hooked up with the night before than helping me and wife who normally spend over a grand in the store every September..... We won't be coming back.... It used to be our place to go to get gear for our anniversary each year. It won't be anymore, unless some changes are made."
