"TLDR: GETTING LIP INJECTIONS AT OVME FOREVER RUINED MY NATURAL LIP SHAPE EVEN AFTER 4 DISSOLVING SESSIONS. (Edited to Add: They responded to this review saying to email. I already did email a long time ago and never got an email response, but got a text from the branch manager and when I texted back saying she could call the next day she never did. Honestly unless they're offering a refund I don't know what she would say to rectify the situation anyway. Even a refund of the original service doesn't cover the cost of the dissolving I did at the other clinic. And I wouldn't trust their injectors to touch my face anymore.) I had lip injections done for the first time by Jamie Lynn. I will note here that I already had quite full lips and had been to consultations with 2 other injectors who refused to touch them (but I figured 3rd times the charm…absolutely not in this case). Before my two week follow-up I was notified that she is no longer with the company. I feel that if she was planning on leaving that that should have been disclosed as I was wanting to keep the same provider throughout (as is recommended and what people usually want to do!) — which would have been great to know as I opted to dissolve at the 2-week mark for the following reasons. I asked for VERY natural and not using more than was necessary and honoring the original shape of my lips. The top lip shape COMPLETELY changed (had a lot of curve and an M-shape which is notoriously hard to treat from what I read — and it became flat after filler) and was protruded to the point that it looked both ducky and pointy and there was a weird line / shape of filler on the bottom lip. She used Voluma only in my top lip as well and I drink over a gallon of water a day…resulting in a swollen upper lip the majority of the time and throwing off my natural proportions as well (top lip is smaller than the bottom naturally and this made the top lip way bigger than the bottom lip and at varying degrees throughout the day). I felt that my original lips were closer to what I wanted in the first place and this experience gave me a new-found appreciation for my original features. I honestly wish I listened to the first 2 injectors and had saved the money and not put my lips through so many rounds of needles and foreign substances. Anyway I worked with Amber to dissolve that with Hylenex. After 2 sessions there was only minimal improvement and originally I wanted to take the slow and steady approach so that we didnt dissolve any of my natural hyaluronic acid…however at the second session she said "I just didnt want to dissolve it all" which is not what I asked for. I wanted it ALL gone in the top -- not dissolving little by little because she didn't want me to have wasted money on filler. I ended up going to another clinic completely and PAYING to dissolve everything OVME did. After 2 sessions at this new clinic and all the filler gone…I NO LONGER HAVE MY ORIGINAL SHAPE. It remains flat instead of with my original curves which were so beautiful. And they have not refunded me. I write this review in hopes that people will research thoroughly before they go through with injectables and make a true informed decision. Yes its basically painless with instantaneous results and its so normalized now. I never thought something would go wrong if I tried it since I know so many people who have their lips done and look INCREDIBLE…but it did."
