"I called ahead and asked how much a cut and color (for some partial red highlights) would be together and the lady told me it would be around $250-275, which i thought was great for a cut and color these days. HOWEVER, i get to the salon and my colorist said she was going to charge $350 for just the color. we ended up negotiating a little bit and deciding to not color as much hair for $275. THEN i go to the girl who’s cutting my hair, and she told me for trimming of my bangs, some face framing, and cleaning up my layers, it would be $100. so for both the cut and color i spent over $400. (my sister who has more hair than me and tends to get full balayage and layers said this was even really pricey) i understand hair prices have gone up these days but BE HONEST about it on the phone ahead of time when i called and asked for pricing!! i was expecting to spend $300 not over $420 with tips included. ADDITIONALLY, my hair color completely faded out after one wash. i’m really bummed because it looked great leaving the salon and i could almost justify the money spent. after 48 hours, i simply could not. i will not be back and i will not be recommending."
