Fuki Sushi,

"Service is great and the place has very homey vibes, but their food is really just average at best. - chicken yakitori doesn’t look or taste like yakitori. Pretty overpriced considered it had no charcoal flavor at all. - for a la carte nigiri, I got the kanpachi and king salmon. I wouldn’t recommend the kanpachi (texture was a little off), but the king salmon was okay. The cuts were rather small though. - I got Chef Hide’s Special, which was a 6 piece tuna nigiri special with a “poke” appetizer at the time. The marinate tuna was nice and the otoro was very good (but it’s also otoro). The akami with avocado was actually very bad— there was something off about the fish and definitely not fresh. All the others were okay. Overall, it was a little under $100?… I feel like I could’ve gotten much more premium yakitori or sushi for that kind of money at other places. Fuki sushi is probably a 2-2.5 stars for me… but we’ll round up because the staff are so friendly, welcoming, and the service is fast."

"Well, it was kind of a pain to get to this restaurant. But once there, seated, it was an exemplary production. Obviously, you go here because the sushi is amazing. You aren't wrong. But also, they have Japanese craft beer, Hitachino Nest, one of the varieties was a White Ale. It was delicious."

"We made a reservation for 8p on Friday. Not crowded at all. Service is excellent. Waiter is very attentive. We have our own private spot for quiet conversations. I ordered the fired spicy tuna sushi and futomaki sushi. Futomaki sushi is amazing, but fried tuna sushi is very weird. I thought they should fry the entire sushi, but they fried the tuna only. Nevertheless, it’s a good dinner. Will come back to try other dishes."

"Wide variety of sushi, sake, and great sides. Service was fast and friendly. We tried at least a dozen items on the list and everything tasted great. The chicken karage seasoning and flavor was my favorite of the night. You can get your typical sushi rolls here and the fish tasted like it was good quality."

"We absolutely loved this place. Everything we had was delicious, truly. The sushi was very fresh and perfectly prepared. Drinks were great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was relaxed but nice. I would love to come here again and order everything on the menu. Not sure you could go wrong."
