"I got the sashimi omakase and 3 rolls, salmon, tuna, and yellowtail. I got seated near the front so I wasn't able to really view inside. However the food was definitely above average and the service was fine, but I'd recommend getting more rolls than the omakase."
"They had chu-toro listed on the menu. What was served was definitely not that and it was a much leaner, cheaper cut. I suspect the re-labeled their normal maguro cut of tuna as chu-toro and jacked up the price."
"Conveniently located in downtown San Carlos. The decor is really beautiful on the inside. The food is very hit or miss for me. The "tacos" would have been a lot better with about 1/4 the amount of salsa on top. The grilled scallops were so overcooked. The risotto is really a standout. It is so savory and delicious. I would be back for that but not the rest."
"Decent sushi with some shockingly good sleeper hits like the robata grill corn with miso butter (seriously the best corn I've had anywhere in the world). Omakase was quite good. Tasty roll. Nice selection of sakes. The sushi chef really made the place though; get a seat at the bar so you can watch him at work and enjoy a conversation."
