"Food was ok, not a huge fan of fish skin still being on the fish even it's in a batter. It detracts from the taste. J was the person running the front, he's was nice enough but seems to be absent minded. For $26 it's very overpriced for the quality you get."
"For me this food is below sub par. There are a lot of soul food places in San Diego. This place is missing something because their food is trash. We spent $50 for small portions of food. We both were super disappointed. The heaviness of the bag did not equal the price we paid. Won't be coming back."
"Got 2 shrimp po boys. They are 16 bucks a piece. There were 6 small shrimp per each po boy and they come on a pretty large hoagie roll. You are basically paying $2.50 per shrimp. They taste delicious but you definitely get ripped on the price. It is almost laughable when you open up the hoagie roll and see those baby lonely shrimp. A true po boy should be loaded up and have shrimp falling out of the roll as you take a bite! If yall have been to Louisiana and are making po boys you should know this! I will not come back. The service was excellent though and the girl at the register was very nice."
"I never do reviews….but this is downright terrible! How can you charge someone $22 for this small amount of Catfish btw these are catfish nuggets which are a $4 dollar difference on the menu!!! After calling they tried to tell me this was actual catfish filets like what fool would believe that. This is terrible customer service and downright theft"
"Conveniently located within the Liberty Station market with lots of seating available, although it can get very busy at times. The food is decent although the portions could be a little bigger for the price. We had the poboy and fries and jambalaya. I like the jambalaya was a chicken only option."
