"I went there today on a recommendation from an IG post and I was a bit skeptical because so far all Cuban restaurants in San Diego are below average. This place is small and has no tables to eat inside but there’s a huge outside eating area. Being Cuban myself I was hoping to have a good experience and to be honest it was a VERY good experience. I ordered a Cuban Sandwich and I must say that it’s the best Cuban sandwich I’ve had in all of California. I also tasted their black beans and rice and they were delicious. The gentleman running the place was Cuban so we exchanged conversation and he was very nice. My food was on time and nice and hot. I’m planning on returning and trying a few more dishes and see if it will be as good as my first experience, I would recommend this place over Havana Grill or Havana Kitchen,. Give it a try I think you’ll like it."

"Delicious Cuban food in North County. Picadillo and rice and beans as good as my grandmother used to make. We really enjoyed everything we had - Ropa Vieja, cubano chicken sandwich, ropa vieja sandwich, and plantain chips. Thank you for our wonderful lunch. We’ll be back soon."

If you have never tried Cuban food you will fall in love instantly with the way the chef has mastered her craft and brought home cooked food to your table.
