"A must see this store. There are lots of so called boutiques on this street but… Definitely more of an upscale experience. I ended up leaving with a faux suede jacket from BB Dakota, a brand I had never heard of. I enjoyed the experience and the clothes were nice, from many different brands, and I would definitely go back."

"Used to love this place. Been shopping at Avanti for 16 years. The brands have gone cheap and styles seem redundant. Staff is always awkward, following you around and avoiding eye contact. Not very friendly. Doesn’t accept returns, FYI. They lost a good manager / buyer about 4 years ago and haven’t been the same since. Hoping to delete this review in future when they step it up."
"I absolutely LOVE Avanti! I have been vacationing in SLO for over three decades and make it a point to stop by and shop every single trip. And now that they’re on IG I shop through their DMs and always enjoy the selection, service, and super cute inventory! I just bought an adorable new summer dress and boots from one of their posts this week. Thank you Kristin and team, you guys are the best!"
"I went in the other evening when 2 blonde women were working. They were both pleasant people. One of them was super nice and courteous- she took all my items to the dressing room for me and frequently asked how I was doing. Definitely more of an upscale experience. I ended up leaving with a faux suede jacket from BB Dakota, a brand I had never heard of. I enjoyed the experience and the clothes were nice, from many different brands, and I would definitely go back. The few downsides were that everything seemed priced up beyond the quality and sizing is limited. Fortunately I am only a L, so I was easily able to find things I liked but good luck to anybody bigger than me. You really need to at least carry XL... it isn’t even that big or “plus size”. It’s equivalent to XS which you do carry plenty of."
