Reviews of monsta snow
"On January 24, 2024 we placed an order for a Tara Boba Freezy on the phone. My wife went in to pay and pick up, but she has never done it before, so not aware of how to do it. The individual working the counter asked if she placed the order online or phone she said phone he said go down there. My wife went and waited by the register, by the front door. For about 7 to 10 minutes with no help. A lady in front ordered some food and drinks and still the individual did not help my wife. I went in to the store, I saw the individual. He said nothing to me and went into the back. When he came out, I asked him if we could pay for our order in cash. He said wait a minute. He came down to the tablets and my wife mentioned to him that he was rude and he stated that he was the only one there, he was having problems in the back, and a lot of people ordered. I said that’s fine. Please ring it up. I pay for it and we’ll go. At that point he mumbled under his mask, and when I asked him what he said, he stated he was just putting the order in. He grabbed the tablet with both of his hands squeezed it, at that point, I knew he was mad, but he said something under his breath. I raised my voice and told him I didn’t appreciate it. Please ring up the item and we will leave. At that point, he said, I’m not serving you get out! I asked if I could get a number to the manager, and he told me he was the general manager, which he is not. We have been coming to the store for many years and getting items from them. I have never encountered a worker at this store that was rude, except him! I understand people have bad days at work, but you do not take it out on a customers. If you’re having problems, take a deep breath and remember the customers pay for your employment your well-being so don’t be rude to them. Treat them as you would like to be treated."
"The dessert here was good. Very unique and delicious flavors. The downside was our experience here with the staff and ordering process. We walked in, and no staff was present. We had questions about the menu, but no one was there to ask. One person came from the back but quickly retreated. Finally figured out we had to order from an iPad sitting in front. We did our best to order, and then that's when the staff comes out to prepare the order. No words were spoken at all, no acknowledgment that we were there. Employees came out like drones and just started working, they acted so strangely it felt so odd to be in there. They all disappeared when our order was made and then we were the only ones in the shop. While having our dessert in the unattended store, a young boy with a bag of cookies comes in and starts trying to sell us cookies from a bag. Most shops don't allow solicitors come into their stores and bother their customers. Of course no one is manning the counter to do anything about it. I felt bad for this young kid, it was well after dark he looked hungry so I bought 2 bags of his cookies for $20 which of course are overpriced but I figured he probably could use the money. He then goes to the counter because I think he was going to use the money I just gave him to maybe get something. Of course no one is there and no one comes out, so after a few minutes, the kid just leaves the store. When we finished, finally a staff member is in the front, but again, no goodbye or thanks for coming in, just silence and an odd uncomfortable glance at us as we left. Overall, the atmosphere was just so very strange due to the weird behavior and unfriendliness of the staff. If the business is employing developmentally challenged people, then good job to the staff. Our dessert was well made and tasty and I would support an employer that employs people who may have developmental challenges. But if the employees are not developmentally challenged, it was straight up weird and a REALLY uncomfortable and unpleasant experience. So if you are the owner, I genuinely would love to know if your staff have special needs as it would dictate on whether I would come back to support your business. But if your staff is not, then it was just a weird and uncomfortable experience and you need to speak with your employees about their interpersonal skills and customer service and the fact that NO ONE is manning the counter. If your employees are not developmentally challenged, I definitely won't be back."
"I've been coming to Monsta Snow for years and each time it gets better. I take all of my friends here and we all love coming for the atmosphere and the drinks are super fun and original! They always have great flavors like pandan, ube, taro, creme brulee, and seasonal creations available. Not to mention their merch is so dang cute. I also wanted to specifically mention this last time I came on 10/08, there was a lady YELLING at the manager on duty and he handled it SO well. The lady was clearly in the wrong as it was a misunderstanding and she wouldn't even let him speak. Every customer in the shop was so shocked and appalled by her behavior but thankfully none of us other customers had to step in because the manager did a great job keeping his cool and stood his ground. Also to the staff creating the drinks didn't miss a beat and my boba was delicious. He was still kind although that all just went down. Great job to the team and managers y'all are keeping it down and amazing!"
"It feels like somewhat recently, boba places have been popping up in Temecula.. . this is such a welcome sign because a few years ago, there were no options for milk tea and cute desserts! The drink selection is good, not great; there's shaved ice (snow) and ice cream offerings in this menu too. Both are good. The quality of boba is very good and some of the drinks are great! Although I got the taro milk tea, it tasted a little grainy."
"Wonderful location serving taiwanese shaved ice, boba drinks, bubble waffle ice cream treats, and even new additions like their mini lumpia bites. The staff is very friendly, and the serving size is wuite ample. One order of their shaved snows can easily feed two. In a couple of weeks they will also begin doing a halo halo (Filipino traditional dessert) shaved ice. The location's interior may seem sparse, but definitely understandable given this is an local restaurant just starting up. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed."
