Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican

"I have been to several Cafe Rio’s in SoCal… this is by far and away the worst one I’ve been to. The Pork Barbacoa tastes nothing like other locations I’ve gotten. The meat was watery and just not good. The quesadilla I got was disgusting and soggy bc the pork was so watery. The most disappointing part though was probably how awful the queso was. Usually I love Cafe Rio’s queso… the one I got from this location was awful and overly thick and salty. Pretty much inedible. I won’t be back. There’s so much good Mexican in this area to support and places that actually care about their food."

"I have been to many Cafe Rios' . I live the food. This location was way different than any other I have been to. The barbacoa didn't taste right. My husband said his beans and rice didn't taste right either. The people preparing the food, didn't seem to take necessary precautions when preparing the food."

"Had the best experience! Food was so good! Perfect amount for price. Staff was super nice and friendly. One thing I love about this location is the manager. He is always animated and friendly. I would highly recommend and return!"

"The food was mid. It was my first time here and had no idea what I wanted, I just know people hype this place up. I just asked for a quesadilla because I thought it would come with a lot. They told me it’s just the cheese and meat. I asked what else I can add to it because i was unsure. They said I could add lettuce, sure why not. I also asked if I could get some salsa. I didn’t want to keep bothering the employee so I didn’t want to keep asking. If you like spicy salsas, even the hottest one has no spice. I was really disappointed in the flavor of the food. It was really bland. I don’t want to give up, so I’m going to try it one more time, hopefully it’s better next time. And for the price, I would expect better quality of food."

"Quick service freindly employees. Okay food just not enough flavor ( Kinda plane ) not many options to pick from as far as toppings. ( NO Cilantro onions radishes jalapenos ) Definitely better than the one in Idaho I've been to but I don't think I'll be back. It's not my type of Mexican food at all. Good tortillas And guacamole but just not good enough to bring me back"
