"I love they have ice made from coffee, when you have normal iced Americano here, you wl find all the ice are made of coffee! So you don’t have to worry about ice to be melted!! I tried the matcha this time, i need more matcha powder"
"I try to support local businesses as opposed to the big chain coffee houses. The place and the ambience are just lovely. The food was good: I had a pastry. The service was OK, even though I tipped beforehand. The owner (presumably) wasn't the friendliest and didn't get friendlier when I told her it was my first time. She was quite friendly to some and barely even acknowledged others. It was a weird vibe. The pastry was good. The coffee had a weird aftertaste. Lastly, I didn't see a lot of handwashing between handling money, etc., and then handling food. Gloves don't help if you're touching them with dirty hands."
"Me & my wife stayed at the Dunes Inn just along Wilshire from here back in May 2019. We were over from the UK spending a few days in LA before going on to SFO. Asked at reception where we could grab a coffee and some breakfast and was pointed in the direction of the café. Were made to feel welcome straight away. Ordered breakfast and coffee. Coffee was the best we've ever tasted. (Food was pretty good too but that's a side issue). Had the same for three days and on the last day I asked what the coffee was. The guy behind the counter told me it was called Crazy Goat and it was for sale in the café. Of course we had to buy some but didn't have a coffee grinder at home. No problem, he ground it for us and we brought it back to the UK. Bought a grinder later that year but the coffee isn't available in the UK. But Klatsch, who make the coffee, ships to the UK. Shipping costs are somewhat high (that's not Klatsch's fault) so to make it worthwhile I ordered 5 packs which came to slightly more than the shipping costs but it was worth every penny. Took us a while to get through it all but it brought back memories of being in the café every time we drank it. So thank you Café Americano for giving us the best coffee ever!"
"Good cafe with plenty of seating (working tables and sofa chairs). They have both food, drinks and snack options. I got the matcha latte and it was good. Free panting in the plaza. WiFi and outlets availble. Perfect for working and having casual chats. Would come again."
"It's absolutely a nice place; pretty, clean, organized, but I feel like it's a "staged" coffee shop. It has no personality. Everything has a hotel-ish feel. An IKEA catalog is more personable than this place. And I only went heard because of anew client recommended it'd be a good spot to meet. The items are pretty comparable to what you'll find at any independent coffee shop. The iced raspberry tea I had as good. But if you want to go to a real warm personable coffee shop, go to the Blu Elefant. Worth the trip."
