"My husband and I always stop here on our way from San Diego to Central Coast. It's a perfect stopping point to stretch our legs, avoid LA traffic and eat. I love the Harbor Cove Cafe and love that they have a ukulele class/concert Saturday mornings from 10-12."
"One of those places where you go, sit down, interact with the server (the woman, behind the man, behind the restaurant), get your food, relax, absorb the ambiance, and think "this place is great..." I must admit that I purposely don't review spots-so-good-that-I-want-to-keep-to-myself... but small businesses are the exception. Great spot, with great food, run by great people."
"Visited the dog friendly harbor cove Cafe and wasn't disappointed. The food was yummy, although pricey. But let's be honest, it's the atmosphere and convenience that bring you here. Parking is ample, and there is plenty of grass for your pup. They also have an egg and rice plate, especially for doggos. If your in the area definitely stop by there's drinks and so much more good food for lunch."
"The breakfast burrito at Harbor Cove Cafe is the best! We went for breakfast and upgraded to a 14” breakfast burrito. We chose two meats to add to the burrito. We decided to try the Portuguese sausage and bacon. There are two types of salsa that go with the breakfast burrito, so we asked for both pico de gallo and spicy salsa. They cut the burrito in half for us to share. It was big enough for two people to eat. The burrito also had egg, cheese, and potatoes inside. The tortilla was fresh, warm, and flaky. We ate the burrito on the outdoor patio because we didn’t want to be in the sun. They also had plenty of picnic tables set up on the grass and an indoor dining room too. The outdoor dining is right on the marina and has a beautiful view of all the boats. We’ve only been on Saturday mornings and there has been ukulele players there playing on the grass area. The staff is very outgoing and helped us decide what to order. We have sat in the picnic tables and listened to the music while sipping mimosas. The workers also told us all about whale watching and the Channel Islands. She had some maps and magazines for us to look through while we ate. The back patio has a fire pit that you can sit next to. There is a parking lot in front of the restaurant but it seems to fill up fast. We have always gone early on Saturdays so parking hasn’t been a problem. This place is great for kids, dogs, and big groups too."
"Great little spot to enjoy harbor views. The food is pretty basic, nothing gourmet. The drinks are really cute, I highly recommend the beachcomber. The outdoor sitting and ocean vibes are the reason to visit, but not necessarily for great food. The service is great, they have outdoor benches, inside sitting and a shaded patio. Dog friendly. On certain days they have outdoor music."
