"Really sad to write this review, I spoke to the manager and gave him a chance to make things right but unfortunately, that did not happen. When I came here, I ordered two pizzas to share with my guest, and we noticed how overcooked the pizza is, but assumed that it's part of the recipe. This pizza wasn't just overcooked, but rather it was charred. I felt a very sharp sensation in my mouth when I took a bite out of the pizza and after that, I couldn't continue eating so I had to pack everything up. On my way home, I tasted blood in my mouth and I had noticed that the charred pizza was so brittle that it had literally torn the roof of my mouth. I called the restaurant and spoke to the manager about this and immediately he defends his product rather than my experience. He says the integrity of the product is based on the sourdough solution that they use in their pizzas and this is new to him. Although I'm not looking for sympathy from a pizza restaurant manager, I am definitely looking for someone to apologize for messing up not only my experience, but my mouth as well. He questioned why I took the pizza home and he questioned why I didn't alert them that my mouth was bleeding while I was there. I explained to him that my mouth started bleeding after leaving the restaurant, as a result of their negligent quality control, which produced extremely brittle pizza. He told me he wants to invite me back into the restaurant, and that he would like to send me a gift card, which I thought was a nice gesture that I initially declined as I was skeptical about going back to have my mouth torn again. He assured me that this was likely an anomaly, and I should enjoy my visit next time. Mind you our total was $60 for two pizzas, and I took a look at my email this morning and saw that this man had the audacity to send me $25. That doesn't even buy me the pizza that I originally ordered. How do you expect me to come back into your restaurant like that? It's quite insulting how this was handled and truly, I think if it weren't for the breweries in the area that would bring the high traffic of intoxicated young people, your restaurant would fail with this kind of management. I was incredibly insulted by the way this was handled and hopefully this can be a learning lesson. Very embarrassing for this restaurant."

"We didn't have a reservation and they initially told us it could take up to an hr wait, but we were seated in like 20min. The food was very good. We started with bread and butter and it was the best I've had. I'm not a fan of any kind of butter in general, but this wasn't just any butter! It was so delicious I didn't want it to end! I'll be going back."

"Best pizza in Orange County. Best Caesar salad on Earth. Sourdough pizza with that perfect combo or crunch and chew. The Caesar salad is huge and the dressing is packed with umami. Would eat here every night if I could."

"Wow! The best new pizza place in Orange County. Make a reservation unless you don’t mind waiting. We came on a weds night and the place was packed with a line of people. Order the Caesar salad and the meat balls as an appetizer/ starter. They are both incredible. We came as a group of three and we’re all blown away at how amazing all the food was. We also ordered 2 pizzas and it was too much food for us to finish so we took some slices home ( couldn’t let any of it go to waste)."

"Folks is one of the best, if not the best, pizza spots in Orange County. I've seen complaints about wait times and price, but honestly, both are not important to me when it comes to food. I've never had an issue with service, but the wait is definitely long if you do not have a reservation. It is a smaller spot and has become quite popular over the last year, so I think you should expect a long wait. I've gone here quite a few times over the years and it has never been less than stellar pizza. I've gotten many different kinds and enjoyed every single one of them. The Caesar salad is also something to shout out - it is amazing. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys artisan pizza, or just enjoys pizza in general. The food is amazing and I love the atmosphere and wine selections as well. Enjoy the food and don't get caught up in wait times!"
