"My husband has been coming here since the 90s and it’s amazing to see a restaurant stay true to its roots. The food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. We ordered meatball subs and a cheese pizza and it was pure perfection. Thanks to Al for all you do!"
"I was trying to get a NY style pizza but got a thick and undercooked pizza instead. I asked Heather on three occasions to make it thin and crispy but she failed three times. She’s nice but not capable of fulfilling pizza orders. Very frustrating. Lots of apologies but not what I wanted. I’ll try elsewhere."
"A great pizza with good quality ingredients. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with extra cheese. Everything had a great flavor and it was cooked perfectly. This is a great spot to try if you haven’t already. I can’t wait to try some of their specialty pizzas and sides. Thank you"
"I’ve lived in California for 6 years. The biggest source of annoyance was not being able to find a good pie. I’m used to great pizza from NYC and New Haven. California doesn’t do it right. Al’s was a shot in the dark order tonight and I’m going to bed a very happy less homesick lady tonight. The only thing missing was the NY water, my hunt for a bomb slice is finally over. THANK YOU for saving me from the other pizzas here!"
"Old school Pizza - We got 2 pepperoni slices Thin crispy crust Nothing fancy but Yum. But the flavor was on point ! Super friendly staff. Our first time visit and we enjoyed better than some of the Gourmet pizzas in the neighborhood. We will be back."
