"One time only , was I not pleased with their customer service. Other couple times process went without a hitch. That one time I feel was the result of a lazy employee. But who knows what they were going through that day. I like to give the benefit of the doubt. For the most part. Really cool store."
"The cashier was extremely rude with rotten attitude. — My experience at Zara was marred by a rude cashier, leading to eventual involvement of the manager. While waiting in line for a return, I was blatantly ignored by the staff member who was avoiding eye contact, even when it was my turn. Confused about whether to approach, I was taken aback when the cashier suddenly shouted "Return!" without looking at me. Upon reaching the counter, the cashier continued to disregard me, focusing solely on the monitor. When questioned if I was indeed being served, the response was a disheartening sigh. Attempting to expedite the process, I mentioned that I was returning items from separate online orders, so it could be easier for him to process the returns with one QR code scan, but was abruptly interrupted with an impatient "I need items!" This was followed by the cashier loudly demanding the receipt without giving me a chance to explain further. Throughout the interaction, the cashier grumbled under their breath, sighed heavily, and when I handed over the items, they incorrectly claimed one wasn't bought online and dismissively rushed me to leave, insisting the return was complete. I asked for confirmation, knowing I had returned seven items, but the cashier insistently and incorrectly claimed only six were processed, speaking in a raised voice and telling me to move on for the next customer in a manner that felt like I was being pushed out. This led me to call for the manager, who apologized and appreciated my feedback. All the while, the cashier continued to glare at me from afar. It was an unnecessarily confrontational situation that left me feeling humiliated and frustrated. This type of behavior is unprofessional and should not be part of anyone's shopping experience."
"I had bought a shirt online, did not even try it on because as soon as i took it out of the box i could see it was way too big for me. Went to go return it and the person claimed there was make up on it. It literally was a discoloration on the fabric. Before i could finish talking he asked for the manager to come. The manager comes and says it make up. I start to explain to her that i havent even tried it on and she interrupts me and says no no its store policy… and then walks away… i dont know how many bad reviews this zara has to get when it comes to customer service before something can get done."
"I frequent the Zara in Walnut Creek quite often. The customer service is usually very good. However, this evening there was a young man who was extremely RUDE and condescending. I did speak to the manager and I hope it’s addressed."
"I visit this location a little more than occasionally looking for a more special piece, like a returned sweater someone bought online and not normally found in their stores. While this location is spacious and pleasantly merchandised, staff can be unhelpful almost bordering on surly, not thanking you after a purchase or not coming back to you promising to look in storage for an undamaged piece that you want to try on. Foot traffic in this store is not so intense as to be overly taxing to staff. To be more specific, the male staffers can be more customer friendly than the women."
