"Alvarado Street Brewery & Bistro provides a class American restaurant experience, complete with plenty of burgers, appetites, and salads. We ordered a variety of appetizers including hummus and pita and calamari. The food was decent -- my burger was a bit on the wet side and fell apart immediately -- but the kind waiting staff and fun atmosphere made up for it. A great spot for families in Carmel looking for a laid-back place to eat."

"We had a great dinner at Alvarado Street Brewery after a drive along the Highway 1. We ordered the Alvarado Burger and the Central Coast Harvest Pizza, both were excellent and great for sharing! I'd have to say the Central Coast Pizza with the kale, butternut squash and goat cheese, was one of the best pizzas I'd ever tasted. The burger was solid, like a solid good burger. Great fixings, juicy Angus beef patty, just perfect. Also tried the Shinko de Mango, which tasted similar to a cider. Highly recommend! Unfortunately we came on a Friday night and were disappointed that the brisket grilled cheese sandwich was only available on Saturday/Sunday."

"One of my go-to restaurants when I don't want to cook. I usually get a pizza and beer. The beer is excellent; food usually very good. Service is sometimes spotty if they are really busy, but other times the servers are attentive and nice. Dog-friendly patio, which is a must for me. A few vegan and vegetarian options are available."

"Perfect spot for lunch in Carmel! The cauliflower entree is incredible. Highly highly recommend. My husband got the pesto chicken pizza (without chicken) and it was also delicious! The staff was all wonderful and we loved our lunch on the patio. Will definitely recommend to others and will visit again."

"This place this the go to in Carmel. Laid back vibe and friendly service. Dogs are allowed if you sit outside. The pizza and burgers are flavorful and well crafted. Great vegan burger too. Large selection of beer, our favorite are their hazy IPAs. Definitely should drop by for lunch or dinner!"
