"The store is well-organized and I like the selection of clothes. Each time I go, I have awkward interactions with the staff. Whether that is a manager not honoring their garment quality standards or an associate being rude to me when I said I would purchase the item I tried on online as I had a larger order started."

"Unfortunately I had a terrible experience here at the fourth Street location. I was picking up an item for my wife who has Covid. She couldn’t physically be in the store. She sent me with her ID and I was prepared to FaceTime her at the store. But the store clerk got the manager and the manager told me repeatedly that it was against their policy and that the person must be present in person with their IDs and that she could get in trouble. I understood that perfectly fine however we live out of town and it was a trek to just be out there in the first place. And I pleaded to her humanitarian side to allow us this one exception, and that I can prove that this is the person I’m picking up for and that there should be no issues. But she treated me as if I was just another statistic and did not look at the situation on the whole. The only thing we can do now is simply return the item and forget the whole thing ever happened. However I wanted to leave this review because I feel that Athleta is a corporation that trains their employees to fear rules rather than looking at the spirit of the brand and treating their customers as individuals with problems that they can solve. I will never buy from this company again and will make sure no one else does."
