"We had the pleasure of working with Amir Levy for HQR. We originally chose him based upon superb Yelp reviews, and we are absolutely thrilled with our decision. Amir and his team were able to complete an extensive remodeling of the kitchen, floors, 2 bathrooms including a master within 6 months (that is 6 months from initial conceptualization of the project, to the permitting process, to demolition, remodel, and finally move in). In fact, after the permit process was completed with the city, he and his team essentially finished everything in 2.5 months! Talking with other friends who have had projects run past a year, we were so happy with our end result. Amir is more than a project manager -in addition to being overall, diligent, communicative, understanding, and highly professional, he was always looking out for our best interests and ensuring top notch quality in the work. He was also flexible and able to work with us despite limitations in our work schedule. He always keeps his promises in regards to the project. We would absolutely recommend him and his team for any projects you are considering."

"We did a full interior remodeling - knocked down one non-load-bearing wall, removed popcorn ceiling, installed recessed lighting throughout the house, and redid flooring, the kitchen, fireplace, and two bathrooms. Amir Levy is a great project manager. We talked to five different contractors to get estimates and what stood out about HQR was them turning around an official written up scope of work with pricing within 1 business day of seeing the house. All the other contractors we talked to either went much longer before giving us an official documented scope of work and/or were much more vague with the pricing. My husband and I are very detailed and wanted things in very specific ways so we always had a whole lot of questions and back-and-forth with Amir, who was patient through it all. We had some delays with our finished materials coming in so our overall time we interfaced with Amir spanned ~ 1 year and it was overall a positive experience working with him. A couple months after the job finished, we had a small issue with a hinge from the cabinet manufacturer and he helped expedite the resolution of the issue with the cabinet representative. Overall, we're very happy with our home remodel and thought that HQR was reasonably priced (not the most expensive but also not the cheapest)."

"We are thoroughly satisfied with our experience working with Home Quality Remodeling for our bathroom (and beyond) project! Unfortunately, we had found ourselves with extensive water damage, and therefore needed to do a complete overhaul on our primary bathroom. Fortunately, we came across HQR through an online search, and we were extra lucky to have Amir Levy assigned to us as our project manager! My husband and I were complete "newbies," having never gone through a remodel in our home before. Amir was extremely patient and understanding as he explained the process and guided us through it. There were some steps that needed to be taken before the actual building could start, and he shared his knowledge and expertise to help us navigate that portion. He always had our best interests in mind, both in terms of satisfaction and reasonable costs. When everything was prepared, he and his crew got right to work, always clearly communicating with us about every step of the remodel and estimated time frames (as well as being transparent about costs and aiming to keep us within our budget). All permits and city inspections were arranged handled by the team, so that part was totally hassle-free. We were provided with explicit instructions, shopping lists, and recommendations for vendors for the finished materials. Amir encouraged us to frame the challenge of water damage as an opportunity to design our bathroom exactly how we always wished it could be. He devoted a great deal of time answering our questions and offering helpful suggestions as we picked out the materials, always remaining very positive and knowledgable. All of the team members working in our home were polite and respectful, and coordinated well with each other to get the job done right and in the most efficient manner possible. The word "quality" definitely belongs in the name of HQR, as Amir accepted nothing less than the utmost of quality in all of the work being completed. We were particularly impressed with the skilled tile work in our shower and the bathroom floor! Since this was our first remodel, it was hard at times to envision the finished product, but Amir always called to check-in and assured us that everything was going according to plan. And, sure enough, we are thrilled with how he and his team at HQR transformed our dark dungeon of a bathroom into a bright, elegant, and beautiful shower oasis! I always jokingly told my family that I should be paying Amir as my therapist, in addition to being our project manager, since he always helped to calm me down when I would get stressed about portions of the remodel, and he even made me laugh on many occasions. I am so grateful to him and HQR for helping make the experience painless (maybe even fun?), and also creating a bathroom so beautiful and peaceful that I can't wait to hop out of bed every morning to use it! Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am no longer afraid of remodeling, and look forward to our next project with Amir and company!"

"HQR, and specifically our project manager Amir Levy, was so good that this is the first time I have wished I could leave a 6-star review. I'll give specifics below, but the bottom line is that they are honest and reliable, they communicate well, and they do incredibly high-quality work on even complicated projects. We hired HQR to demolish an unpermitted addition that was built by the previous owners, then build a new legal addition in its place. The new addition needed to connect two different existing rooflines and intersected multiple load-bearing walls. Highlights: (1) This was our first time doing a major remodel, and we had a lot to learn. Amir went above and beyond helping us identify and resolve potential problems early, patiently answering all of our questions, and explaining our options when a decision needed to be made. (2) Once we had architectural drawings, HQR gave us a quote and stuck to it. Over the entire lifetime of the project, HQR never once added an unreasonable surprise fee. There were also a few extras we voluntarily added to the scope, such as updating our guest bath and creating a laundry closet, and HQR always gave us reasonable prices for adding them. (3) Amir aimed for perfection as if this were his own house. If a mistake was ever made by HQR or one of their subcontractors, Amir had it fixed quickly, no questions asked. The end result is a beautiful addition that looks exactly as we had imagined it. Finally, we learned a really important lesson on this project. We hired our own architect before meeting HQR, and this was a mistake. Using a separate architect created a lot of headaches for us and ultimately ended up costing us more money and delays than if we had used an architect hired by HQR. We plan to hire HQR again in a few years to redo our kitchen, and we will definitely use their in-house architects and designers for that project."

"We recently had our kitchen and garage remodeled and our whole house repainted with Home Quality Remodeling. Our project manager was Amir Levy, and he was fantastic. He was always friendly, kept us in the loop at all stages of the project, and often helped us choose and/or pick up finished materials when we were unable (even when we were overseas). His attention to detail was amazing, catching layout and design issues that would have been costly to fix retrospectively, and continually made sure that his subcontractors work was up to scratch (having the work redone if it was not done to his satisfaction).
