"I would say this place is a hit or miss and I'm giving a 4 due to their efforts. The servers were very knowledgeable but they don't refill your glass or really know how to attentively wait tables like other establishments do. The appetizers were out of this world good. (Blackened ahi and crab cakes) but the mains were definitely not the quality of the price paid and was borderline bad. The desserts were outstanding (Panna cotta and apple crisp) again but the steak sides were meh. Had we known we would have just gotten starters and desserts and left it at that. The price is very very high but whether it's worth it depends on what you get True score is 3.5 but rounded up because our wait staff was nice. That and I may just be a spoiled Monterey local at this point."

"Went here for the last dinner of our honeymoon, and we have not stopped thinking about it since! Service was phenomenal, with several staff always making sure we had what we needed. They were also ready with drink recommendations, as their drink and wine list is extensive. We ordered the special, A-5 Waygu with truffle fries, the artichoke ravioli, spicy hummus salad, bread and butter, and creme brulee for dessert. Everything was flawless, and we are still thinking about that waygu weeks later. It was worth the $500 we spent on dinner for the two of us. This is an excellent choice if you're looking for an elevated, elegant night out while in Carmel. Note, this place does not have a "kids menu" but we did observe the table next to us being able to order a kids sized pasta, so they're also very flexible and accommodating."

"Was very excited to try steak in this gorgeous area. Atmosphere and restaurant were on spot! Giving the bad rate because of Service!!! Our table was younger then the rest of the restaurant and I'm not sure if that's the reason, but we were judged from first approach. Server asked us if we would like to have a drink, which we didn't care for since we were travelling before dinner and we were ready to have a meal! He thought we have no money or similar so he skipped to ask us if we want appetizer, he was very ignorant, which I couldn't stand. We ordered appetizers and main meal. We had nice chat and we didn't want our dinner to be wasted by server, then girl ar our table got drink from somebody from bar, which was mistakenly brought to our table and not table next to us! After that we waited around 50minutes to have entrees on our table!!! Next 2 tables that sat after us and had same steaks as ours were served before us! We finally got the food and NOT the sidedishes! Whole dinner was a mess, server was trying to avoid us and didn't wanna stop by table when he realised there was a mistake in kitchen.. This is THE WORST experience I have ever had in restaurant! On top of that it's expensive and food is not worth it! Find yourself a better deal in the area!"
