First Street Alehouse

"I came upon this GEM by accident. I was in the area looking for some good food, and I smelled this place from a block or more away. Garlic fries were in the air. I stopped in and was pleasantly surprised by what I discovered. I started with the chilli and grilled cheese sandwich. It was one of the BEST grilled cheese sandwiches that I've had in awhile. The chilli was very hearty and the portion was generous. Next was the sampler platter in which I got Hot Wings, shrimp and garlic fries. It was so good. The food was served expediently and the service was on point. It was the middle of the day and it had a nice amount of customers. The prices are reasonable, the food is amazing and the service was worth returning for. I'll be back in the terminators voice."

It's a yummy combination of romaine lettuce topped with chicken breast, applewood smoked bacon, blue cheese crumbles, tomatoes, avocado with balsamic vinaigrette without egg. The beer list is long and they serve an assortment of artisan cocktails and wine. If the date is going well, walk around historic Livermore to get to know each other better.
